CRUISER LAKE TRAIL
9 mile trail
Voyageurs National Park
Accessible by water only, on the northeastern edge
of Lost Bay on Kabetogama Lake. Trail crosses Kabetogama Peninsula to Anderson
Bay on Rainy Lake. There are seven Lakes along the trail and connecting
points include Cruiser Lake at the midway point. Scenic overlooks, granite
outcroppings, and a wide variety of Plant and Wildlife.

CUT FOOT SIOUX TRAIL
22 mile trail
Deer River, MN
Hike along several offshoots along the continental
divide. Starts at Cut Foot Sioux visitor information center in Chippewa
National Forest. Passes through Hardwood and Pine Forests into hilly area
with small Lakes. Connects with Simpson Creek Trail, a 13 mile trail system
through large Pine forest on the Peninsula of Lake Winnebigoshish.
Be on the lookout for Osprey, Eagles and Loons.
Fishing and Berry picking in the area.

Developed on an abandoned railroad grade, going through
rural scenery and farmland. Trail begins in Northwest Rochester and travels
