You can choose from a cozy room in the base village, studios to four bedroom condos, or a spacious, private mountain home along the golf course. During the summer enjoy our 18 hole golf course. Lodging guests enjoy complimentary access to our Swim and Racquet Club which features 3 outdoor spas, massage room, saunas, 2 heated pools, adult fitness center, and game room for all ages. We cater to the individual, families, as well as corporate and meeting groups /please contact us for rates on groups and homes. Shop till you drop at Northstar. Located in the new Village at Northstar, you will find a wide array of mountain gifts including hand-carved wooden bears, pine-scented candles, footwear, swimwear, Northstar logo apparel, and name-brand apparel by The North Face and Oakley. Northstar Resort is expanding its village and mountain offerings. Please be aware that construction will be ongoing throughout Summer 2006. Every effort is being made to minimize noise and related disturbance. The main swimming pool will be closed as of August 15th, 2006 for the remainder of the Summer as it will be undergoing a complete rebuild. Housekeeping service is provided every 4th day when staying 7 days or longer. Driving Directions from San Francisco and Sacramento areas- Go East on Interstate 80 for roughly 3 hours. (184 miles) Take Highway 267 Exit. This is the new by-pass route. It is just after the last Truckee Exit. Travel South on Highway 267 for approx. 8 miles. Turn Right onto Northstar Dr. Take first right at Guest Registration to pick up hotel and/or condominium keys. The Northstar Village is up the road 1 mile. Driving Directions from Reno/Tahoe International Airport: Upon leaving Reno/Tahoe airport, turn right onto Highway 395 North. Proceed 3 miles /staying in the right-hand lane/ and exit to Interstate 80 West /Sacramento/Reno exit/. Go West on Interstate 80 for roughly 30 minutes (30 miles) Take Highway 267 Exit. Travel South on Highway 267 for approx 8 miles. Turn Right onto Northstar Dr. Take first right at Guest Registration to pick up hotel and/or condominium keys. The Northstar Village is up the road 1 mile. Driving Directions from Truckee/Tahoe Airport: The Truckee Tahoe Airport, with a 7,000-foot runway, is 3 miles away. The Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 (men and women) course that makes every guest feel welcome. From beautiful scenic views to two unique nines, NorthstarTM Resorts pro-rated golf course maintains a comfortable feeling that will challenge golfers skills and appeal to their senses. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Robert Muir Graves, legendary landscape architect. His designs are notorious for integrating rugged, wooded sites with wavy bunkers and putting surfaces. The result of a Graves creation is a very active looking course. His unique features create a flow of movement in the land, qualities golfers will experience while playing at Northstar Resort. The course plays up to 6,781 yards. Our course offers 4 tee locations and carries a rating of 72.4. Northstar Resorts course is open from May 20th through October 22, 2006. Northstar Resort also offers horseback riding, tennis, hiking and fly fishing.
