The Queen of Southern Resorts is making another historic comeback! Marriott's Grand Hotel is under reconstruction due to severe damage from Hurricane Katrina. The renovated golf courses have reopened, the spa is back in business and one hundred guest rooms will be available by May 1st. Renovations on the remainder of the hotel including meeting facilities and restaurants are scheduled for completion by the end of 2006 or early in 2007.
